New livery for the racing sim. Got some @lovelystickersfr stickers for my wheels. They were able to make a #mclaren version for my #turnracing wheel and a #porschegt3 for my #fanatec wheel. They look great. Also added a new license plate to the back of my simlab cockpit. Also added a sticker to the Fanatec endurance module that labels all of the buttons.

Did my #trustdronetraining at lunch and tested out the #djimimi3 #drone tonight.

This week's projects. I fixed up a #cnc machine a friend gave me. Should be fun to #makestuff with it. I also worked on changing out the lead acid batteries for Lithium in our solar shed. Just need a little inverter and we can charge our power tools.

@lin_dsay178 and I went to New Orleans for New Years. We really had an amazing time. Amazing music and food. Did more than 20k steps a day just walking around french quarter, Frenchman street, garden district and everywhere in between. Got to see my cousin @emilyhord on Saturday. Got to hang out with @bluwater59 on Sunday on our way out of town. Perfect trip.

This is 15lbs of Pork Shoulder Butt that I smoked for 12 hours with apple and cherry wood. This has to be one of my top 3 of all of the foods I've done in this smoker. Absolutely fall apart and so flavorful. Made some seared petite sirloin ramen tonight. Threw some fresh onion and dried portobello mushrooms in the broth I made and froze the last batch. Also, I think I nailed the soft boiled egg. 6m boil then ice bath.

Sushi, Miso and carrot cake for Lindsay's birthday.

Had a great time camping this last weekend at Humbug Mountain state park. Made some shrimp and scallop linguine, found a rock with a quartz 8 embedded in it and got to do some fishing.

Using the #svbonysv305pro for the primary and #svbonysv905c as the guide camera. Just getting things aligned before I start to try autoguiding. This is my first image after getting things mostly focused and the exposure and gain adjusted.

mmmm #smashburgers. Need to get a little hotter next time, but they were awesome.

Finished the #porcherwb. It turned out great. This has been my dream car since I was 16. A 1/10 scale will have to do! I'll be putting it next to the #racingsimulator

Took a trip to #yachatsoregon for the weekend to see the mother in law. Was a nice mini vacation. What should we name the slug in her driveway?

Had a little impromptu trip to Seaside with Lindsay for the weekend to relax and disconnect. We had a nice time walking around the beach saturday even though it rained a little. We had a great time playing crossword puzzles wherever we went. It's our new fun couple hobby.

Since I was 17 I have always loved the Porsche 911 GT2 and the Porsche 993 RWB. A few months ago I found an @aplastics_rc_drift_shop Porsche lexan body, Tamiya GT2 spoiler and then 3d printed some parts. Having a buddy help paint it. This will be a shelf queen to display next to the #racingsimulator #porscherwb #tamiya #nevergonnagrowup

Made some smoked steelhead this weekend. So good. Used cherry and alder to smoke. Brine was kosher salt, brown sugar, garlic and some #bourbon. Smoked for 2 hours at 200.

Mmmmm. I really love making ramen from scratch. Turned out perfect this time.

Dinner tonight was homemade salmon cakes with some Asparagus and pan vegetables and some hollandaise sauce. Served with some Amne Amie Pinot Blanc.
